HHI & ETE visit & inaugurate JSTPP Mess Hall.

Delivering full satisfaction to its clients thru providing a decent accommodation with high level of comfort is what ETE Housing and Catering ( ETE H&C ) has endeavored especially ?for ?clients whose projects are commonly situated in a hostile environment. Moreover, trying to create such a harmonious environment ?for ?workers despite their ?differences in nationalities, religion, and practices to name a few, ?also adds to the ?challenge.

The above mentioned parameters ?are ?key factors in measuring success for companies like ETE H&C whose mission is to cater the need for catering and accommodation for labors and staffs working ?for megaprojects such as the Jeddah South Thermal Power Plant (JSTPP) - a megaproject currently being constructed by Hyundai Heavy Industries ( HHI ).

Under strategic partnership between ETE Group and HHI, ETE Housing and Catering (ETE H&C) ? one of ETE Group?s fastest growing companies, has won an exclusive contract with HHI ?to provide accommodation & other integral units for the latter?s workforce of various categories who are temporarily ?living within the project site till the completion of the project. The contract also includes food catering services to its workers of approximately 8,000 people. The HHI Direct Employees & Subcontractors Camp was constructed and led by Mr. Mohammad Bu-Khamsin (General Manager ? ETE Housing & Catering) alongside Mr. Ahmad Cham (Business Development and Planning Manager) under the auspice leadership of Eng. Morhaf Bu-Khamsin, (ETE Group -VP for Planning and Business Development).?

From the very start of this project, ETE Housing and Catering was keen to deliver excellent services to HHI not only because of the magnitude of this project, ?but most importantly achieving full satisfaction considering how meticulous the client is when it comes to keeping ?a balanced well-being for its employees through creating ?a humane and healthy environment for its workforce.

After conquering all sorts of challenges, the Korean Mess Hall having a capacity to serve 3,000 pax and as a vital component of JSTPP?s Labor Camp, was finally ?inaugurated on 16th of April 2014. It was attended by both parties? top executives namely: Mr. Choi Hong-Cheol (Project Manager-JSTPP Project), Mr. Lim Jong-Cheol (Administration Manager- JSTPP Project), Mr. J.H.Park (General Affairs Manager- JSTPP Project), Mr. Moon Hyeong-Cheol (Project Control Manager-JSTPP), Mr. M.K Lee (Logistic & Materials Manager- JSTPP), ?Eng. Morhaf Bu-Khamsin (ETE Group-VP for Planning and Business Development), Mr. Ahmad Cham (Business Development and Planning Manager), Eng. Amarendra Dheer (ETE Readymix Technical Director), Mr. Joao Diogo (Area Manager-Western Region), Mr. Mohamad Sarhan (Camp Manager) & Camp Operations Team, Eng. Abdulghani Nayyar (Project Construction Manager) & Engineering Team, ?Eng. Naveed (ETE Ready Mix-JSTPP Concrete Batch Plant Manager). Understanding the importance of this event, a few of ?HHI?s senior management staffs ?flew in from their headquarters in Korea just to be able to witness this significant milestone.?

The inauguration ceremonies were ?formally opened by Mr. Cham with his welcome address to the guests. Also, Eng. Morhaf Bu-Khamsin has delivered a brief yet thoughtful message to all the attendees, he emphasized the strategic partnership and teamwork with HHI. The event would ?not be complete without the guests, giving toasts of refreshment to further ?celebrate ?the success of this project.

Shortly after the program, ?the senior management staffs ?of HHI had taken a round of inspection to ETE H&C Service camp after which they were so delighted to see the actual excellent outcome of this project. To speak of specific details, the HHI Direct Employees & Subcontractors Camp was well-constructed, organized, and fully equipped with state-of-the-art recreational facilities and amenities such as sports facilities, kitchen, prayer rooms, bathrooms, convenience store, barber shop among others. Meanwhile, the room categories vary and are being clustered ?according to staffs? level and position. These rooms are well-furnished & fully air conditioned with regularly assigned ?maintenance staff.

As ETE Housing & Catering aims to establish a long term partnership with HHI in all of the latter?s megaprojects, the ETE H &C Service Camp at JSTPP project is a perfect opportunity to prove its full capability & expertise ?to deliver excellent services which will hopefully ?pave the way to achieving its goal.?
